How it works

1

Tell me about your group

A short call covers who is coming, when, what you want to play and how much you want to spend.

2

Get your plan

I send a day-by-day itinerary and a booking calendar that says what to book, in what order and how.

3

Book it yourself

You book and pay each course, hotel and driver directly. I stay on hand for questions if you choose that option.

What is in a plan

Everything an organiser needs to book the trip with confidence, in one document.

Course sequence

Which courses, in which order, so the drives are short and the best round falls on fresh legs.

Booking calendar

When each tee sheet opens, how each club takes requests, and the cancellation terms to know.

Where to stay

Hotel options for each base that suit a golf group, with drive times to every course.

Budget per golfer

Published green fees and realistic estimates for caddies, hotels, transport and meals.

Caddies and transport

How to request caddies at each club and who to contact for a minibus and driver.

Off the course

Distilleries, dinners and a rest day that works for golfers and for anyone travelling with them.

Sample trip

Eight golfers, six rounds, one week in June

Two bases, Dornoch and Nairn. Inverness airport in and out. No drive longer than 75 minutes, and the last round is ten minutes from departures.

Who is planning your trip

Tee Sheet North is run by someone who lives and works in Scottish golf.

What this service is, and is not

  • I advise. You book and pay every course, hotel and driver directly.
  • I never hold your money or make bookings in your name.
  • I cannot guarantee a tee time at any course. I can tell you when and how to ask.
  • I take no commission from anyone I recommend.

Questions organisers ask

How far ahead should we start?

Ideally 10 to 14 months before you travel. The most sought-after courses open their tee sheets around a year ahead, and summer mornings go first.

Do you make the bookings?

No. You book direct, which keeps you in control and means you pay each supplier its own published price.

What if we cannot get a tee time we wanted?

Every plan names an alternative for the hardest tee time. With the support option I rework the plan with you.

Do you plan trips outside the Highlands?

We can do custom itineraries for whatever suits you best.

How long does a plan take?

7 days from your first inquiry and we should have everything ready to go for you!
